“Stella was so helpful during labor and delivery. Her presence was very calming. She was very low-key but when I needed her she was right there giving assistance.

This was my second birth, and during the first birth I was very resistant to being touched during labor. But she pressed on my lower back during contractions which was surprisingly very soothing.

The birth of your baby is very intense, but a miracle, and it was special to have her there. Her competent presence made me feel safe.

It was also great to have her knowledge of herbs and a woman’s body during the prenatal visits.  Her natural approach was very practical to my staying healthy in the days leading up to my labor and delivery. She provided me with herbal tinctures, one for low iron, the other for a urinary tract infection. Both helped remedy the problems, saving me from having to resort to more extreme measures.”

“Stella was my midwife while I was planning a home birth. She always made me feel comfortable and took great care to explain things to me while we were working together. Whether it was vitamin recommendations or growth and development of baby, she made sure I understood all of the things to expect and reasons behind what we were doing. When my birth did not go as planned, she also accompanied me to the hospital and was an amazing advocate for me in the delivery room. I am so thankful she was there with me making sure my needs and wishes were being taken care of.
